The government had a choice in dealing with Snowden — Either agree that whats happening in the NSA with PRISM is very illegal and un-american and shut it down or choose to be complicit and persecute Snowden. They defend the NSA as would be expected in this age. We are all effectively being considered potential terrorists and monitored at all times while online or on the phone. You can say "nooo thats bullshit" but its not, its real. Its all logged.
