The government is rolling out changes to the child maintenance system, which will involve charges for separated couples who cant come to amicable agreements about money, or arrange payments directly between themselves. (For now, those with existing Child Support Agency cases wont be affected, but those with existing Child Maintenance Service cases will.) The ministers behind the policy argue that these changes will make life easier for children of separated parents, by encouraging them to come to informal arrangements. What do you think?
