Below is a message I saw here on facebook from the filmmaker of Steps of Faith, M.Legend Brown: I guess I am going to have to make this as plan as I can. I havent been totally forthcoming because I didnt want to make it a race thing. But that seems to be the message I get from my sales reps. After a lengthy conservation with them this weekend the bottom line is...When I tell you Hollywood dont support faith and family films... What Im hearing time and time again is that BLACK faith and family films dont sell. Please support this film and help us send a powerful message. THAT THIS IS NOT TRUE... I myself is getting so worn down by that statement. We control the power with our dollars. Weve only presold 173 copies....we wanted to get to 20k...I need your help to say that family and FAITH-BASED films are needed. Please share this with your family, friends, and coworkers. The DVDS are only $10 dollars, plus S&H for a first run film. You can watch the trailer: https://youtube/watch?v=TnUIg7Dpg2U and then ORDER your copy (ies) by clicking this link: mkt/poorchild-films/steps-of-faith-dvd Thank you for your support in advance...lets show them what happens when they make us mad.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a beautiful movie with a powerful message - for ALL human classifications!! Brown, black, white, yellow, pink, polka dot...everything that has breath!! It hurts me so much that people get judged and valuated by their skin color. Ive lived in many different countries and never experienced racism the way it is here in the US. I never thought about who in my circle of friends is a different race (besides, we are all ONE race - the human race!) and it saddens me that some do. As a foreigner for over 10years I am experiencing to a small degree what it means to be judged by something you cant change. I am embracing being different and love diversity - in my circle of friends, church, mentors/people I look up to and on my DVD shelf!! Anne
