The government want to put an end to contrived tax avoidance schemes. A lot of these schemes are legal but morally wrong. The answer is simple make a new law of conspiracy to avoid tax. Any accountant and all taxpayers getting together or using instruments to avoid tax go to jail. Plain and simple. Off shore accounts can only be used for money where tax has already been paid or the banks themselves face charges as well. Will the government do it?
