The greatest change in a new year is the transformation that occurs in our life as we respond to Gods drawing near to us, and from this place, the continual, daily commitments that we make; in our heart, our attitude and our choices. May we choose to follow Him, with all that is in us, for all of Him, wherever and however He may lead us. We can trust Him. There is no need to fear. He is Love. He is Reality. He is Truth. He is the Answer and Solution. He is in complete and sovereign control over all life and creation. He is committed to your good and He holds your best interest in mind. How will you respond to His loving hand extended to you in a new day today? Words of life into this New Year Deuteronomy 5:32-33 So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. Joshua 1:3-9 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 24:15 But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. 2 Chronicles 20:12 Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you. 1 Corinthians 2:9b-10, 16 What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love him—these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:10-11 Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Romans 8:28, 38-39 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
