The greatest feeling in doing the work we do is seeing the progress the dogs make every day. We couldnt be more proud of Blake and how much better he is doing with everything in just 10 days into his training stay with us. The work is not over yet though and we know that it will be a big challenge for him when he returns home where he has practiced these behaviors for a long time and feels more sure of himself and his bad behaviors. The easiest part is getting the dog to do it right with us, the hardest part is transferring that success over to the relationship between the owner and the dog where there has been a lot of bad patterning for everyone and it is sometimes difficult to overcome (for dog and human). Practice, patience and persistence are key in making the dog understand that it is going to be this way from now on and also to create new habits in the humans when the dog comes home. https://youtube/watch?v=4SyKcNJERRI
