The guard made the usual security inspection with my bag as I went inside the LRT terminal tonight, when he saw my type A Scout uniform inside my bag... He might have confused my Scout uniform with the Police uniform, that he told me I should have wore it for me to have a free ride... Bago na po ba ang kulay ng police uniform? I jokingly asked the guard as Im pretty sure that our brown uniform is different from the blue uniform of the PNP. Meron din kasing flag at nameplate yong uniform mo sir, he told me. Ano po ba kayo sir?, he smiled. Boy Scout po, I proudly told him. He then made the classic Scout salute and asked the other guard if Boy Scouts have the privilege too of free ride... He must be a new assigned guard I assumed, but his candid act brought some fun moments instead of chaos and tension that happened most of the time in the terminal.
