The guy with the shield is back! Thor--no, Captain America--Im beginning to get my comic icons (not com-cons, now thats a convention, right?) a bit mixed up. Also, in the title role is Chris Evans who was one of the Fantasic Four (with 2 names, The Human Torch & Johnny Storm) and now hes up against The Winter Soldier (though I never figured out why they called him that). Anyway, these superhero movies are kindof not the same after a couple dozen of them. The punches, and bullets, and bombs (especially bombs) dont have much impact on anybody (or anything, either). Too bad, because I really liked the 2011 original (a 3.69 for #14 of 217 that year). This one is still decent, mainly because of Robert Redford & Samuel L. Jackson, but, cant we please get to the Fall & more great Oscar movies? My rating, 3.15, for #10 of 13 seen for 2014, and it wouldve ranked #81 of 163 if seen for 2013.
