The hard days, the unfortunate times, the despair, the frustration, the let downs, the disappointments, the grief, the depressions, the sad times are all left behind me. I have not forgotten them at all but they are now a distant memory and have made me the man I am. Some of them I look back on and laugh at them, as to how foolish I had been then, some of them do bring some pain but I soon banish the thought. These are just memories of a distant past, a part of life that may have come to teach me a lesson, to become a better person. These were part of my destiny and could not be avoided and so I went through them. Do not dwell on these sad memories and let them stay where they are meant to be, in the past.
