The harmful practice of provisioning (feeding) animals for tourism has caught on in the Philippines with several sites planning/starting to feed whale sharks in the way of Oslob. This video shows provisioning of the whale shark in Malabrigo, Lobo, Batangas. If not regulated, this will truly be a problem as the practice alters behaviour and the movement patterns of whale sharks with potentially negative impacts on their population.
