Weve got a nice mix of standard Jordan classics (e.g. black gloss 5-string and flamed maple 7-string) as well as some unique wood selections to choose from. John Jordans singular violin design is attractive, ergonomic, and makes for a perfect canvas upon which to display his crafty, artistic wood working skills. In addition to careful wood selection, John situates his carving angles in such a way as to bring the most attractive aspects of the wood piece to the forefront. Note how the woodgrain in the olivewood violin (second from right below) follows the lines of the strings, accentuating the narrow length of his design.
