The head of the House of Representatives Salem al-Jubouri and the representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Iraq, Nikolay Mladenov confirmed importance of international efforts to coordinate and work at a high level to provide relief suitable caravans to the displaced and for families before winter. A statement of the Information Office of the President of the parliament said “al-Jubouri received, at his office in Baghdad, today 27, Oct the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Nikolay Mladenov and discussed with him the latest developments in the security and political situation in Iraq, especially and the region in general.” Jubouri confirmed, during the meeting, on the “need to have a big role for the people of the hot spots in the extension of security and stability during the process of the formation of a national guard to protect those areas and to support the national reconciliation project in the country.” He stressed that “there are efforts being made in coordination with the Ministry of Displacement and Migration to provide 8000 Caravan and set up especial camps, hoping to provide international support in the field of education, health and food.” For his part, Mladenov stressed the continuation of the international support for the Iraqi government and underlined the need to protect civilians and keep their lives in light of the military operations taking place in Iraq
