The heads of the various trade organizations affected by a Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ruling requiring the securities industry to submit an alphabetical list, or alphalist, of recipients of income payment from their securities trades fear a collective decision by foreign-fund managers to uproot their exposure in the Philippines and leave for other less restrictive or intrusive markets elsewhere.
