The "heavy fiber" of the day today for the rabbits was trimmings from my peach tree seedlings in the nursery row. Treats were 2 large grape tomatoes for each, 2 of the large bottom leaves from the Japanese radishes and 1/2 of a large Winterbor kale leaf. This morning they got a large crabgrass cluster about 18" tall each, roots and all. Just before dark tonight, everyone in hutches will get between 1/8 & 1/4 cup of good quality pellets. I do that every other day, sprouted wheat berries every other day about 1 cup each. Not to the point of grass in the summer, just sprouts.
