The height of ignorance and public declaration and open invitation to what is essentially the greatest sin of shirk. Instead of being serious about a potentially fatal storm about to hit the city or in the very, very least be thankful to Allah and not Abdullah Shah Ghazi for having saved Karachi before numerous times, speaker continues to make light of threat and again invites to assosicating partners with Allah by suggesting that Ghazi sahab s mazar will save us again. Astaghfirullah! By Allah, Abdullah Shah was one of Allahs pious slaves but he is long dead and at the moment, we with our prayers and sadka e jariya for him can help him more than he can help us. This business of seeking waseela of the dead is one of the many contentious doctrines of Sufi thought that has lead many a people towards shirk. We must stop this and seek Allahs refuge against it before His anger overpowers His mercy. Allah alone is our protector and wali and with His mercy, aid and His acceptance of our repentance do we have any chance of surviving the tests of this world and the next. And there is no help for those who dont help them selves, faith means tying your camel in the desert and then having the conviction that Allah will protect it. So if we sit idly not doing anything to prevent any potential damage from the storm, we shouldnt expect Allahs mercy. Going to interior Sindh as speaker suggests is not the answer (even if evacuation is being considered, it cant do it for the whole city). How on Earth do people with such views even make it to parliament let alone become speakers? May Allah give him hadayah.
