The highlight of my day today. My daughter studying Nursing Psychiatry attended her first day of her clinical part where they actually work with patients. Her clinical is at a hospital for advanced dementia patients. I was nervous for her because this might have put her off . This is what she messaged me Dad it was absolutely amazing. My instructor is a treasure and after we went through the orientation binder we just went and hung out with patients and it was such a soul feeding experience I cant wait to go back. I know the two patients i spent the most time with are looking forward to seeing me again too. Not that theyll remember me but i can tell i helped them feel good today.
