The history of word: Tuk Tuk and Reumork - Tuk Tuk was used by Japanese tourist visited in Thailand. He heard the sound Tok Tok Tok so he called since then. But I do not know the year of use. ( Thai word named: Ruth Sam Lor ) - Reumork = Motorbike trail was a French word that they ruled Cambodia in 1863 - 1953 AD. On the 9th of January 2013: The Cambodian Ministry of Tourism had banned the use of the word "Tuk-Tuk," to let Cambodian people have to use the word "Reumork." instead. However, Reumork has been increasing a popular vehicle for tourists in Cambodia and it has also a cheap price. Please note that Reumork in Cambodia is different style from Tuk Tuk in Thailand.
