The hospital where Ping was being treated said that we should euthanize him, as he is still unconscious and has little chance of recovery. So weve taken him out and are now looking into other options that may give him a chance of life with adequate quality. Several vets have suggested high-pressure oxygen. Its expensive (NT$25,000 for five treatments), but we believe its very much worth a try. Ill let you know when we have found a vet who can perform that procedure. Were also trying to make an appointment with one of the best veterinary neuro-experts as soon as possible. Some good news is that Ping does respond to touch and can swallow soft food by himself, as you can see in the video.
