I was all set to link to a very cool cover of the song Falling Slowly, but then I reread the above and noticed that the letter is supposed to correspond to the musician, band or artist, not the song title. Im a stickler for protocol, so I tried to think of a good F name. I strongly considered Foreigner (the first album I ever bought honestly it doesnt hold up, b) and Fleetwood Mac (Landslide is still one of my all-time favorites) before settling on Just Call Me Lonesome by Radney Foster. I chose it because its linked inexorably in my mind with the first time friends tried to teach me line-dancing. I was never good at it, but it was a very joyful occasion, helped along by Mr. Fosters brand of honky tonk.
