The importance of live music in a venue is so under estimated by the bean counters... Visitors old and new comment about how our islands have lost that vibe... When they listen to and meet performing musicians they make connections with a front line ambassador of aloha. So sad that performing artists compensation hasnt gotten any better than it was in the late seventies and low balling the budget for music is the norm. No wonder why Hawaii has lost its identity as a number one destination. Aloha is so corporatized, compartment and sold ala carte... No money, no aloha. But to those who create, promote and support Local Music... Mahalo plenty. Thank you very much
