The incredible Kathleen Brooks has started an amazing non-profit to called Friends and Vets Helping Pets. I just donated and I hope you will too. Heres a message from Kathleen. :) Shawna The mission of Friends and Vets Helping Pets is to help people who are struggling financially not have to decide to put their beloved pet down simply because they can’t afford life saving treatment. So far we have helped senior citizens on fixed incomes, therapy dogs whose owners are disabled, a survivor of 9/11and families who are looking for work or who are underemployed to name just a few. We have so many applications coming in everyday that we’ve had to hire the fabulous Beth Willmott to run the operation full time. We are participating as the youngest non-profit in the the Kentucky Good Giving Challenge. TODAY at NOON Eastern Time every donation made will be matched 50 cents on the dollar.
