The inequality in income levels between rich and middle class is at the highest level since the Great Depression. This growing gap between rich and middle class means the middle cannot buy the things which account for 70% of economic activity in the US. This has been a major factor in causing businesses to close and people to lose their jobs. Just watched an enlightening popular Netflix movie Inequality For All, that does a really really good job of explaining why it is getting harder and harder for middle class people to make ends meet. This is an issue which should concern all Americans, and started becoming a problem in 1978. It has spanned Democrat & Republican presidential administration. I urge everybody to see it.
