Good Monday, everybody. Hot and humid air continues to surge into central and eastern Kentucky today and this will take up most of the week in weather. This does not look like the beginning of an extended period of steamy weather, but should give us the hottest air of the summer.That pattern begins to break down by Friday as a dip in the jet stream dives into the eastern part of the country. That will set us up for clusters of showers and storms…A deeper trough is likely to develop as we head into early next week. The European Model shows a pretty cool air mass diving into the country…If you’re a fan of hot and humid… soak up what mother nature is giving you this week.Make it a great Monday and take care.
