thanks Manvi Bajpai and Sunny Kapoor for tagging me choosing top 10 books ...it was like choosing between my left eye and right eye. Still here it goes.... 1. Millennium series by Stieg Larsson – mind blowing and mind bending –loved the plot, the twist, mystery and actually fell in love with the protagonist (Lisbeth Salander) 2. Paths of glory – my favorite book amongst Archer’s. first 50 pages and I thought ...wow boring much!!! and then slowly and steadily I fell in love with the story and George Mallory – I remember finishing the book with grin plastered on my face 3. Fall of giants by Ken Follet – became author’s fan wid dis one. World war as never told before 4. India after Gandhi by Ramachandhra Guha – from independence till 1990s the author told the events as they were – one of the unbiased book I have read on the subject 5. Fountain head & Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand – well!! .. the font costed me the trip to ophthalmologist. But the books were awesome to say the least. 6. Da Vinci code & Angels and Demons by Dan Brown – I remember reading both these books along with Google images to see the painting, frescoes, monuments mentioned with a dial up internet connection. 7. Great Expectation by Charles Dickens – the classic that I understand totally, critically, analytically or any point of view one can think off...thanx to my English teacher for that. And also, now when I read any classic, I parallely do critical appreciation as I read.....I will be reading some description of surrounding and suddenly the line that will pop up in my head will be’ it reflect the mood or mental state of the character’, undoubtedly it makes me enjoy and understand classics with greater fervor 8. Agatha Christie – Poirot, Miss Marple, stand-alone novels ...love them all 9. Tell me Your dreams & Master of the game by Sidney Sheldon – and the world was never innocent again!!!! 10. The last slot is dedicated to the countless feel good chicklits that I have read . Though they will never measure up plot wise or character depth wise or say narration wise but they still are and very much part of my book-land (Nicolas Sparks, Meg Cabot, Sophie Kinsella, Lauren Weisberger, Sara Shepard, Sarah Mllynowaski...from the top of my head) would like to know ur top 10 fav Amrita Shukla, Jazeena Azeez T, Rashmi Bhagat, Minal Agrawal, Rati Singh, Akrati Kamboj
