The insitutional effect of racism and ghetto have created a ignited a war between people of colour and the police that was had justified reasons to be vigilant of eachother yet now those are now just tools of the trade for those that profiting in this war and from. I as a black male and imiggrant have never had trouble with the police because treat everyone as I wish to be treated and never accepted the ghetto mentality of hip-pop culture. I never lived or grew up in the ghetto, even if I had I want better for myself and everyone so I act as such. My parents taught how to behave and made the choices when to listen and rebel my life today is consequence of those choices. My point is this death as all in custody or at arrest/dettention should not happen but being objective Eric did not help himself by reacting angrily, the officers clearly are responsible for their actions the was no need for the chokehold once he was on the ground or the attempted dettention. Having worked in the high pressure of the security industry and have had a violent streak, I know easily things can escalte or be toned down when egos are checked. Little it or not all people deserve respect, giving it cost you nothing but can reward you in many and all cases. Especially with people who my act on survival instinct and assume the worst based on sterotypes or fear.
