The interesting fact of life on earth is point of view, limited data to analyze always allows conclusions of some sort to be limited to either theory or fact, dspending upon availability of knowledge at a give time. Often science acknowledges the suns life span upwards of 10billion years, yet some estimate the suns age at 4.5 billion years currently. These facts, or theories are given, yet it must not be assumed that the life span of the sun is in anyway associaed with the capacity for human life too thrive. Human life thriving is an occurence which cannot be associated withthe lifespan of the sun, nor the earth, it is more fragile and dependent upon resources which face horribe odds for sustaining, due to unknown cosmic possibilities, as well as known capacities for depletion, and unavailability. Science should not be in a constant state of panic, which it is not, but a real sense of the frailty of human need should not be ignored or shut out of intelectual conversation. Pride, and the ego should not dictate the level of intelectual tolerance in the scientific community, after all, it is only the recognition of danger which can influence the mind to take defensive posture.
