The juvenile Bald Eagle from Presque Isle has been admitted and is receiving medical care. The two year old male is extremely emaciated, dehydrated and anemic, weighing in at only 4 lb (1.8kg). He is roughly half the body weight he should be and in critical condition. He has been given warmed electrolyte fluids tubed to his stomach and medications, and will receive additional treatment later tonight. Thank you all for your good wishes for this bird.
