The kids are working on outlining scripture using Bible reference - TopicsExpress

The kids are working on outlining scripture using Bible reference materials, such as Ungers Thompson chain-reference, Strongs Concordance. Yesterday while they were at speech class, I drove up to half price books to find a Strongs EXHAUSTIVE Concordance and found a nice one...for 6.00! I threw it on top of all the other books in the passenger seat and took off. I had been doing lesson planning and had accumulated a pile of books in the passenger seat of our new vehicle. This new vehicle of ours has the bells and whistles, and not to my appreciation at times...I like my cars functional, practical, and not fussy. As I was driving the car started beeping at me faster and faster and I had no idea what it was. Concerned I finally saw that it was my passenger seat belt warning light telling me that a passenger (who was not there) was not belted in. I had no passenger and assumed the car was malfunctioning. I figured out that this car has a weight sensor in the seat, so its micro-managing controlling powers allow the vehicle to tell people to put their seat belt on, and it beeps endlessly until you do exactly as it says. Well, apparently the weight was caused by the new Strongs Exhaustive Concordance, which by its mammoth size truly lives up to the description! Once I realized what was causing the weight of the seat to attack my ears, I pushed it off the seat, and the car stopped dinging immediately! Anyone who has one of those knows what a massive book that is. There is the proof! Moral of the story: Place your Strongs Exhaustive Concordance in the back seat when you drive with your string basses! LOL
