The last Dos Gatos Press reading of the season is coming up this Saturday, December 6, at Malvern Books, 613 W. 29th St., Austin, TX 78705 (malvernbooks). The reading runs 3-5 p.m., and it features more than two dozen readers from all over the great state of Texas, including Janice Campbell and Toni Falls from San Antonio; Jerry Hamby, Kristina McDonald, Kelly Ellis, Vanessa Zimmer-Powell, Stan Crawford, Rebecca Spears and Sandi Stromberg from Houston; Loretta Diane Walker from West Texas; Anne McCrady from East Texas; Travis Blair from North Texas; and Gloria Amescua, Christa Pandey, Laura Cottam Sajbel, Claire Camargo, Joe Blanda, Katherine Oldmixon, Bruce McCandless, Amy Greenspan, Brady Peterson, Margie Roe, Shubh Schiesser, Allyson Whipple, Sarah Webb, Cindy Huyser, Judy Jensen, and Marcelle Kasprowicz from right here in Central Texas. What an excellent way to sample the poets of the 2015 Texas Poetry Calendar in one of the coolest indie bookstores in the country, Malvern Books, which only stocks books from independent publishers, including every single Dos Gatos Press title.
