The last day of 2014. I got up at six, found my tiny flashlight and shined (shone?) it on the thermometer. It read 23 below zero. I quietly climbed back in my warm nest and pulled the covers up to my ears! This has been a great year overall. (I hate to see it go out at twenty below - but maybe well get all the cold out of the way and start off better tomorrow.) I am so blessed in all that I have - all that surrounds me. I have four wonderful children and their wonderful spouses and significant others (whom I also count as children, so really I have seven wonderful children), three terrific granddaughters, my talented spouse, great health, a lovely little piece of heaven. (So thankful, too, that youngest son got one of the darned porcupines so we might be able to leave the heifers out overnight.) Thanks to all of my friends, Facebook and Face-to-Face, who make this life always interesting!
