The last time doing leg day ....on this programme anyway! Yesterday I had my last leg session on my current programme before I get my new one next week. I hit 4 sets of 90kg this time on the deadlift, getting 8,7,7,6 reps before dropping to 80kg for 1 set of 10. I was delighted with this because when I first started, 3 weeks ago, I was deadlifting 70kg so its great to see such an improvement over 6 sessions. I think the extra carbs are treating me well in terms of strength. Below is a short video of my first set! I also did a cardio session last night and KILLED IT!! I was so happy leaving the gym! I was ready and determined from the get go - I did the same training programme as last Friday except I ruined my last scores. I covered 14.57 km as opposed to 12.96km last Friday. Thats 36laps of a running track! No better feeling than the feeling of progression! :) Kate xx
