The last week has been packed with activity... Tuesday (January 13) was when Jim had those hard seizures that led to facial lacerations which led to a trip to Mercy Hospital & 20 stitches. Wed I stayed home with Jim. Thursday work & then a 90 minute massage! Friday, right after work, through Sat at 9 p.m. had responsibility for 22 month old & 4 month old grandsons. Bo is teething & was awake every 1-2 hrs due to his discomfort. Thank goodness for my sisters tag teaming with me. Loved having them but it was physically exhausting. Sunday, church, then spent whole afternoon & evening in IC running errands, including getting Jims stitches out & getting his glasses fixed (lens came out) & getting his pre-made prescription for dentist appt. Monday had MLK Jr Day off work but spent most of day on church business for which I had procrastinated. Then spent the evening at church board meeting. I also had taken my car to shop to get back brakes & rotors replaced & oil changed & investigate why Check Engine Soon light was always flashing. It was running so rough. Well 2nd cylinder was not firing & fuel injector had problems which meant tearing into engine. He had to keep it overnight to finish up today so he loaned me a car. I stayed up until 2:00 a.m. to type up board minutes (no procrastinating). Today I took a personal day. Jim & I had to fast until we could get our blood drawn at 11:00 for lab work for our check ups next week. Jim had a 9:10 periodontal maintenance appt at dentist in N Liberty. Then we had our blood drawn in IC. Went to eat. Ran a couple more errands (including a trip to Goodwill) before his 4:30 neurology appt at UIHC. That took an hr. Went to Copyworks to print 25 copies of my Christmas letter/photo journal to mail to friends & relatives for which I didnt have email addresses. Then we ate at Peking Buffet. Left there at 7:45. Exchanged cars. My car has never ever run so smoothky. I am not kidding. Joe was right. I am very pleased with Fred Peiffers work! Did stuff at home. Now here it is midnight. I better get to bed. I return to work tomorrow, to rest up from all this personal life work. ;)
