The late waning Moon is in Sagittarius right now, applying Uranus in Aries and then quietly applying to Mars and Mercury by tomorrow. Meanwhile Venus in Capricorn is slowing down in her retrograde to station with Pluto, who opposes Jupiter and squares Uranus. Its a good day for an adventure. The mood of the Moon is expansive, bright, and open, despite the fact that some deeper/darker subjects might be boiling below the surface right now. Early this afternoon the Moons trine to Uranus will bring a wave of eccentric, future oriented, rebellious and exciting adventure to the mix...depending on where this lands in your chart you could be up for some unexpected surprises this afternoon....a piece of advice for Uranus is to go with it but dont get dominated by it. Sometimes when unexpected things happen we have a hard time letting go of our control over a situation. If we can stop and get curious...sort of step back and observe...Uranus influence is usually far less irritating to the flow of events. For example: you get into a fender bender unexpectedly. You can either roll with it calmly, and see what the hidden teaching or lesson might be, or you can let it spiral you out of control and then the rest of your day becomes a wild goose chase of emotions and reactionary choices. Choose the reflective path with Uranus and often Uranus will help to break you of a pattern (like the texting while driving that led to the issue..not the driver in front of you!). Otherwise remember that adventure is a relative word. With Sagittarius it generally means...travel somewhere...expand your mind, soar, have fun, stay light, keep moving, and do things that take you slightly out of your routine for the day. My plan (for example): after cleaning the house (which always puts me in a great mood), Im going to travel to Game of Thrones land for the afternoon (Im on the 2nd book, reading). and then Im going to take my dog for an adventure somewhere, and then Im going to do some writing, etc. Whenever there is a Sagittarius Moon I just make sure to ride with the energy...to keep it moving and to keep doing things that make me happy. The only real exception to this today might have to do with relationship stuff you are up against right now. With Venus stationing in her retrograde next to Pluto, for some people this is a time of looking very deeply at some aspect of a relationship--it might be relative to a job or coworker, a relationship with a family member, your family members and your partner, etc. Regardless, the next week or so will continue with this theme more intensely as Venus stations....if any unexpected events come your way today, relative to these themes, try to use the optimism and lightness of the Sagittarian moon to view it all as a soulful adventure. Theres an optimism that can help us through any kind of conflict today, so dont let the situation get too down or too heavy if you can help it! Prayer: Wild horses. Roaming freely. A snort of steam. A stamp of hoof. Endless hills and plains. Despite anything hard and heavy..despite death and violence...despite the hard work of it all...despite anything sudden and unexpected...I am free and open...like sun beams stretching out across the world.
