The latest 12z GFS run is out and our 14km NMM model has updated to show the chance of precipitation turning to snow on Sunday as we see some colder air dragged in to the low pressure system. At the moment its showing higher ground with the greater risk but even wet snow to low levels for a time across the North is possible. We will continue to keep an eye on developments as we are now starting to see at least some agreement on colder air making its way in from the North East/East as the low pressure system slides away during the early part of next week, on these model outputs we would expect wintry/snow showers across Scotland and Northern/North East England although other runs have taken the risk further South.
