The law remains, but the penalty is lifted for those who trust in Jesus who layer down His life in our place and voluntarily took our deserved punishment. So Gods commands are not lifted, just the penalties. Knowing this, read the following and see if Gods command provoke you to defense or to praise His commands, and His commands are not burdensome. Do not pray to or through anything or anybody besides God through Jesus, our advocate who has been exalted above the world that was created through Him. God FIRST, Jesus ALONE. Thats who deserves our praise and glory. Deuteronomy 4:16-19 so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of ANY shape, whether formed like a man or a woman, or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air, or like any creature that moves along the ground or any fish in the waters below. And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars—all the heavenly array—do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the Lord your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.
