The little Book of Obadiah has only twenty-one verses, the shortest Prophecy in the whole Old Testament! Short in length ... but long in meaning! It says that God will judge wayward nations! Proud, Christ-rejecting people! And God did indeed judge the little land of Edom, the nation against whom Obadiah preaches. In fact, Edom exists no more, gone! My fear is this. If America continues to reject God, to ignore His Grace, to doubt Jesus Christ His Son ... we too might face Gods awesome Hand of Judgment! I dont think we are exempt, do you?
