The little boy that lives inside me, the one who shares this frame with the Man I am today, is absolutely in Heaven. He smiles for all the obvious reasons... and for so many reasons others can never know. Ive taken time to reflect upon who I have been throughout my life, who I am today, and who I will become as Kim and I continue to live our lives in real time, and I am so blessed by all that I see. I give thanks for the wonderful people who have touched my life in one way or another over the yeas. I give thanks for all the challenges and all the hardships Ive endured and overcome. I give thanks for my family, friends and loved ones - so many people who are part of my shared journey in life. Ive done a lot of things in my life. Ive traveled far and wide and Ive been exposed to so much. I understand the differences that are so prominent in cultures and lifestyles throughout the United States and abroad and I value the lessons learned from being exposed to these differences. Who could have ever known how powerful those simple thoughts I had allowed to exist within -- those dreams that made me smile as a little boy -- would become in my life? Who could have imagined the journey they would take me on? Ah, yes, the magnificent wonder that occurs when our Spirits are set free to exist as they naturally are... On Monday I start the rest of my life in an institute that will further lead me along the pathway to my dreams. You might have guessed I will be wearing my best, most appropriate clothes. I respect and value the moment of action and growth I am experiencing and I will be 100 percent present. I am ready to get my party started and I will stand tall and true in my own shoes. One of the most valuable lessons Ive learned in my life is that, in truth, there is no competition... There is no one on the face of this planet who has walked the same exact path Ive taken. There is no one who has experienced the exact same things Ive experienced or done all the things Ive done. No One. That is simply not a possibility. So I understand with certain clarity that my destiny is uniquely my own and I have fully embraced it. No one on the face of this planet is able to do so because (and this is the part I like most)... They are not ME.
