The little rock star is a...BOY!!!! Our son is already so loved, but Im a bit overwhelmed. I have the most awesome nephew on the planet. Buddies and I have an amazing, close relationship and he knows I love him to the moon and back. But he is all boy! Rough and tumble, get scars daily kind of boy. I remember when he was about 2, I would walk behind him with my arms out the sides of him just in case he might fall. I used to say I wanted to put him in a bubble. So Im bit overwhelmed about having a son. I feel like Im going to be put on anxiety pills the day after Avery is born. A lot of people say I have a natural mothers instinct and that scares me. I love my nephew like words cant describe and Im sure I am going to love my own son with the same fierceness. And it scares me. How will I ever be able to let him leave the padded walls I plan on installing. :-) Hubby is stoked to have a son. Of course every parent says they just want a healthy child, but every man wants a son to carry on his name. Happy Wednesday folks! If you are travelling for the holiday, please be safe.
