The longer I sat in front of the news tonight, the further I felt myself swallowed by an endless, black abyss that is our world. Wailing parents in Pakistan, memorial flowers in Australia, police brutalities in America, coffins of children sinking into the dirt in Syria, and millions of other tortured souls that didnt get airplay. My mind cant fathom the evil that is living and breathing among us and my heart doesnt know who to hurt for anymore. All I ask is that we take time to remember and mourn for those that humanity has lost in recent days, and to embrace our loved ones a little tighter.
