The magic of great songs and how they effect peoples lives was shown a few nights ago at the Fox Theater in Hutchinson, Kansas.The NGDBs opening act was the wonderful songwriter, Matraca Berg, and though her name may not have been known to many in the house that night, after her show it is assured they know her now. Matraca was joined by her NGDB hubby Jeff Hanna along with Fadden and Bob from NGDB for a beautiful quiet acoustic set of her songs, many of them award winners. Her quiet manner won over the audience, which was then treated to her sensitive writing and sweet voice. Hopefully, she will join more shows in the future and possibly show the NGDB that more acoustic music would be good to have on the show menu. For us, it was a great audience. Could not have been more receptive,and thanks to Jack Manske and our great crew, all went well and a good time was had by all!
