The management of a top retail chain is worried after recording a high purchase of machetes from in the last two weeks. The managers are concerned that the high demand for the tools could be related to the ongoing political tension in the country and they want something done. A top manager identified a vocal MP as the face behind those who have been purchasing the pangas. It is believed that a huge consignment of machetes was purchased following a meeting between the MP and a group of youths in an upscale hotel. The chain wants the government to force all those buying machetes in large quantities to bring along their details. - Corridors of Power.
