The meaning of honoring women Dear Friends, Namaskar Here is something special from someone who loves you: The new generation of women has already proved it’s much higher worth in all fields including science, technology, management and education. These days’ media is highlighting the news that girls are predominantly outshining their male counterparts in examinations and competitions at all levels. This is despite the fact that on an average, girls face more constraints and difficulties than boys with regard to educational facilities. Girls are underprivileged in the sense that problems of social security are faced by them at faraway educational institutions. Even at nighttime, girls confront an extreme insecurity at public places and thoroughfares which boys do not face. Biologically speaking, our adolescent daughters deserve a specialized healthcare but it is not available to a vast majority of them. Women do not get their natural powers cashed in a normal manner. Biologically, the human female is much superior to its male counterpart. Intellectually, mentally and socio-economically also, she is higher. Only for historical reasons, she is not invoking her divine status. The truth about our women is now dawning upon the humanity as a whole that by undervaluing women, a very counterproductive blunder is being committed. As we review an average woman’s private and social life, we will invariably discover that housewives pervade each and every nook and corner of the homely comforts. They could be observed taking care of the entire interior of their residential places. Walls, floors, doors, furniture, wardrobes, kitchenware, refrigerator and washing machine are bracketed with them. The success of daily hospitality and special get-togethers at any average residence is attributable to women only. As a general manager of the private and social life of their respective families, the contribution made by housewives, if quantified by an economist, will amaze everybody. It has been estimated that the average workload ratio between men and women is 20:80. Coming to the wealthiest families which could be called the economic skyscrapers of nations all over the globe, you will find that women could be discovered as the deep invisible bedrock not known to everybody. At the same time, we get daily news through the media that women in all age-groups are being molested and even murdered in an inhuman manner. This is a dishonor to our own Creator. The fruit of socio-economic development and prosperity will never be available for utilization to the civilized society if our bedrock i.e. our women, is broken into pieces like this. Let us publicly apologize to women around the globe by confessing having done colossal injustice to them in all respects. Let us honor the Divinity by making women viable in terms of health, education, employment, social security and status. By doing so, our humanity would be saved from self-annihilation.
