The message is important, and certainly it is beautifully communicated, but I must add my own caveat. The truth of this applies mostly to a privileged minority of the world, those who fear outcomes that are, for the most part, not likely to occur. For most of the world, however, choosing love and faith over fear is a luxury they cannot afford. We need to be aware of our own complacency and arrogance when we embrace messages like this. Not everything that sounds good to our first world ears is universally true. Given the relative power and control we have over our lives here, in middle and upper class America, we can chose to override the amygdalas warnings. And, very often, we should.
