The messengers of Peace the environmental Scouts contribute to remove the effects of the fire in Al Sayeh library Tripoli - Lebanon The most important qualities that specializes Tripoli ( North Lebanon ) as the city of co-existence since ancient times , it includes different religions and sects in Lebanon and the civil war that lasted more than fifteen years has not affected the distinctive social life in the city. Tripoli is well known as the city of science and scientists much of what came out of the large number of writers and the libraries had played an important role in the life of those scientists and writers. Al Sayeh Library owned by Father Ibrahim Sarrouj , the pastor of the Church of St. George in Tripoli - Lebanon , is considered to be as one of the most distinctive libraries which includes more than 85 thousand title of precious and rare books in various fields of science and knowledge. The father Sarrouj is known to be an advocate interlocutor. He used to stand with the citizens of Tripoli in all the hard days to face the difficulties that have passed over the city. Recently, after a wave of violence in Lebanon, some of which is against the backdrop of sectarian displays father Sarrouj was exposed to numerous threats. Also, he was accused of attacking the Islamic religion but everyone knows the tolerance and ethics of Father Sarrouj. That problem caused the burning of the library, which wanted to make a rift between Muslims and Christians in the city. Both Muslims and Christians condemned taht horrible work. The next morning, the environmental scouts with the help of the civil society activists of all ages and from all parts of the city and of all religions and sects came to the library and began a workshop to remove the effects of fire and destruction. The scouts worked in front of the shelves, in the warehouse and in the courtyard of the library. They classified the good books and threw away the damaged ones. They have not felt bored or tired and they wanted to say that Tripoli is a city for all its citizens against those who want to destroy it and that the scouts are always messengers of peace.
