The mind is designed for both replay and preplay. Replay is the ability to remember the blessings of God and preplay is the ability to predict his faithfulness in the future based on what He has done in the past. While reading at my desk today I noticed my computer went to screensaver mode. Karen had arranged for all the pictures I had taken and put in my computer to present a slide show while in that mode. I found myself staring at the screen fascinated and captivated by the presentation. An old song came to my mind; Thanks for the Memories. I began to offer thanksgiving to the Lord for the many aspects of my life both past and present I was viewing on the screen. I recommend you make such an arrangement on your computer. It helps you to learn to inventory and analyze your allies and blessings rather than your enemies and troubles. Here are a few of the pictures I saw and how they motivated me to thanksgiving. A hummingbird drinking from a feeder on our deck - Thank you Lord for your beautiful creation and my senses working perfectly to take it all in. My son and I kneeling behind an 8 point whitetail buck I had just taken with my bow - Thank you Lord for my children, their futures and all of the fun we have together. My Dad & Mom sitting at the table with a Birthday cake for Mom with the number 39 on it in candles. Actually she was 86 and we were laughing at here refusal to go beyond 39. - Thank you Lord for faithful Parents who have trained and mentored me in the ways of the Kingdom. Elk grazing in a field where a dear friend of mine and I hunt together. - Thank you Lord for faithful precious friends that have been true to me in the good times and the bad. A Pastor and his Wife at a recent meeting held in Florida. -Thank you Lord for ministry comrades and associates. A crowd shot of a recent Protégé conference - Thank you Lord for my protégés, partners, and Sons and Daughters in the faith that you have allowed me to mentor and pour my life into. My wife and I overlooking a beautiful ocean view - Thank you Lord for the opportunity of walking through life with the precious partner you gave me. A Mentor of mine on a television set right before we did a telecast together. - Thank you Lord for the Mentors you have placed in my life to guide, correct, and inspire me in your ways. A former student of mine receiving his Doctorate. - Thank you Lord for all of those I have trained that are even now ministering in your Kingdom around the World. A promo for a Teaching Series on Strength and Wisdom for Achievers - Thank you Lord that every day many are listening to a CD or reading a book that allows me to minister even when I am not with them. A protégé couple standing in front of an agricultural business they have started - Thank you Lord for the privilege of interceding for my protégés and watching their successes in your Kingdom. My little dog, Walker, jumping up to greet me - Thank you Lord for the simple pleasures of life and the little things you do to make life fulfilling. Eating breakfast with my grandson. - Thank you Lord for the legacy of Strength and Wisdom you will allow me to leave to natural and spiritual generations. Three crosses on a hill outside of a Church where we minister. - Thank you Lord for shedding your blood that I might have such an abundant life. Lord, Thanks For The Memories We Have Shared Together In The Past And For The Ones Still Waiting For Us To Experience Together In The Future.......It Is A Pleasure, Lord, Walking Though Life With You. Karen and I pray you will have a blessed Thanksgiving and everyday will be filled with gratitude to our Lord who loads us daily with His benefits. Thank you for being a part of mine and Karens life! Your prayers and support are not taken for granted. We pray for you often. Mike Brown
