The minds of Republicans - where facts dont matter much: Rep. Michele Bachmann says she is one of the people who lost their health insurance because of Obamacare and she won’t go shopping on a health exchange until it’s fixed. “Are you kidding? I’m not going to waste an hour on that thing,” the Minnesota Republican said when Wolf Blitzer asked her on CNN on Thursday if she’d signed up on the exchange website. “I lost my health insurance under Obamacare. And so now I’m forced to go into the D.C. health exchange. I’m waiting until they fix this thing. I’m not going to sit there and frustrate myself for hours and hours.” Um, yeah. You and 534 of your colleagues, Michele. (Except for Ted Cruz, who is on his wifes gold-plated Goldman Sachs plan.) That was part of the law, and it was a Republican idea. I know its really taxing for you, but try to remember back three and a half years ago when you and your fellow Republicans thought it was a really cute idea to make members of Congress shop on the exchanges. Not that being informed is really something Bachmann concerns herself with. See, the D.C. health exchange isnt the same as the federal exchange. They built their own. Its had a few bugs, but its working just fine. She could also shop in her actual home.
