The missing man formation, a tribute by flying pilots to those of their Comrades in Arms that did not return, is a privilege to fly and memory to witness. In the formation one aircraft, often the lead wing in an echelon-right formation pulls hard on the stick to jettison out of the formation, straight up to disappear out of sight of the viewers below. Rest in peace my many brothers and sisters who cared enough about what they were told was worthy of protecting, that they gave their lives to do so.
