The moderator misleads his audience by saying, If you want higher standards you can teach them. How is that going to happen? There is no time left to teach extra work because educators, administrators and school districts are evaluated based on the CC standards alone. Any higher standard is worth zip under CC regardless of how much it helps kids. They also mislead by suggesting that as teachers use the standards they like them. Surveys show the more teachers use them the more they oppose them. Between 2013-2014 support among teachers dropped from 76% to 46% and opposition tripled from 12% to 40%.
