The more I know about Jimmy Johns the less I support then and their business model. If you support workers trying to work their way up a ladder to earn a better life this kind of thing should be the antithesis of what you stand for, and for just about anyone else this should just be frustrating! Putting meat between a couple of slices of bread is NOT a trade secret and does NOT constitute a non-compete clause for employment!
