The more rigid you become, the less options you have. In this day and age of change, those that are able to stay fluid will be the ones who are successful in the future. It is important to recognize that you can be flexible without sacrificing your values and beliefs. Flexibility has to do with being able to switch up methods and adapt to external dynamics. The only thing constant is change, so one will do well to embrace it rather than resist. I used to hate change (and to some degree I still do), but I realize that it is a current of life that I have no control over, plus I recognize the good that it produces. Change keeps you from becoming complacent and allows opportunities for growth.
